SAT/ACT Preparation
The SAT and ACT are standardized tests that higher educational institutions use to help determine admission to their school. These tests are very important and can have a significant impact on any student wishing to attend a higher educational institution.
The websites Khan Academy and ACT offer free resources for scholars to help them prepare for these challenging exams. Additionally, our unit provides free SAT tutoring with our academic team on weekday mornings.
Our unit encourages its cadets to take standardized exams such as the SAT, ACT, and PSAT. Since these exams not only help themselves, but also help our unit, we do offer unit service hours for any time spent taking one of these exams.
Khan Academy provides a free SAT course that consists of full length SAT practice tests, SAT math practice, SAT reading practice, SAT reading and writing practice, and tips and strategies for taking the test. The ACT website provides full length ACT practice tests, study guides, online practice, and sample classes.
