Duke of Edinburgh Award
All students will be invited to join the Priory School Duke of Edinburgh award programme. We offer the bronze and silver award at Priory school.
The Bohunt Education Trust is the largest Duke of Edinburgh provider in the south.
Co-curricular programme
If you decide not to take a subject through to GCSE and BTEC but have a passion or interest in the subject - you can get involved through the cocurricular programme - this term we have 52 across the week, so plenty to attend and enjoy.
The full programme can be found on our website.
Student voice and leadership
There are many opportunities for students to become involved in student voice and student leadership. From tutor representatives, prefects, curriculum ambassadors etc.
Community
We offer frequent opportunities for students to engage, support and enrich their local community, from visits and performances in local residential homes, food bank donations, beach cleans, alumni engagement etc.
Careers
At Priory we have an exceptional and dedicated careers provision with runs right through every academic year. It takes place through tutor time, subject specific lessons, careers weeks and more.
In Year 9 all students will be given a careers programme called the affiliates programme - they will get opportunities to meet people within the professions they are studying.
In Year 11 every student will be supported throughout the college application process.
