Zones of Regulation
In class this week we have started to look at the Zones of Regulation. We have started to think about what might make us feel like we are in a particular zone as well as developing an understanding that all feelings are okay and that no zone is a bad zone.
Over the next few weeks we will be looking at tools to help us when we feel like we are in a particular zone.
This week we visited the Abbey House Toy Museum and Kirkstall Abbey. We participated in a workshop where we learnt about a range of toys from the past then we got to play with them! Spinning tops, acrobats, slinkies and Jacob's ladder were some firm favourites!
After the workshop we spent time exploring the museum then we sat down together for lunch. After lunch we went for a walk around Kirkstall Abbey. A fun day was had by all!
