TYLER RICHARDS

Tyler Richards was born and raised in the San Jose, California area. He began his colorguard career in middle school, and continued performing with Leigh High School, where he graduated in 2007. He marched multiple years of drum corps with the Sacramento Mandarins, Santa Clara Vanguard, and aged out after 3 years with The Cavaliers. After aging out, Tyler performed in multiple tours across the US, South Korea, and Japan with the Broadway show, Blast! as the male lead in the visual ensemble.

Tyler has worked as a technician and choreographer for many groups all over the US and Canada, including Union HS (Tulsa, OK), Eastlake HS (El Paso, TX), Santa Clara Vanguard Winterguard, Escalade Winterguard (Calgary, Alberta), Bluecoats, Zionsville HS (Zionsville, IN), and The Cavaliers. Currently, Tyler works with Inspires Drum and Bugle Corps (Yokohama, Japan), Santa Clara Vanguard, Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets, Carmel High School, Center Grove High School, and is returning for his 5th season with The Pride of Cincinnati.
