MICHAEL GAINES

Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Michael Gaines grew up with the pageantry arts all around him. His post high school education included a degree in Finance from the University of Dayton, as well as a Fine Arts degree from the San Francisco Academy of Art University. From 1998 to 2011, Michael was the drill designer and visual coordinator for The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps, and served on the design team for all 7 of their Drum Corps International World Championship titles. He currently creates for marching bands and stage shows, as well as indoor winds, percussion, and color guards in the United States and Asia.
