Affordable Connectivity Program
The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC program that helps ensure households can afford the broadband they need. The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price. The program is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.
The following providers are participating in the Affordable Connectivity Program, but also offering separate discount programs, which are detailed below.
AT&T
Offering Access from AT&T to eligible households for $30 or less monthly.
Charter/Spectrum
Offering Spectrum Internet Assist to eligible low-income households.
Xfinity/Comcast
Providing Internet Essentials service to eligible households for $9.95 monthly.
Xtream/Mediacom
Offering Connect2Compete Internet to qualifying families for $9.95 or $30 monthly.
