French The Next Step provides students with a deeper understanding of the language, enhancing their ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms. 

Students will focus on expanding their vocabulary and mastering more complex grammatical structures. They engage in interactive activities that build their confidence in conversing on a variety of topics, from daily life to cultural themes. As they progress students will refine their language skills further, exploring advanced language use in diverse contexts. This level emphasises critical thinking and analytical skills, encouraging students to engage with French literature, media, and real-world scenarios. This elective aims to develop students' proficiency, cultural awareness, and appreciation for the nuances of the French language.
