Lesson Planning
REFLECTION ON LESSON PLANNING
A Brief Explanation of the Technology: I prepared this Lesson Plan with the help of a template that was provided for this lab and worked on Google Docs (and Google Drive).
The Goal of the Artifact produced, Subject & Grade: This Lesson Plan is produced about "How to create a Lesson Plan" and the target audience for this is Military Personnel and Cadets' Instructors. The goal of this artifact was to make an effective and comprehensive Lesson Plan including all the elements to teach the students about all the headings and steps involved while preparing a lesson plan . It had to include certain mandatory information to facilitate any teacher (aka: substitute teacher) taking this class can be able to justify the lesson.
Reflection on ease / difficulty of learning and use of Technology: It was such such an interesting lab about "How to make a Lesson Plan" by using technology inculcating Alberta Learn and SMART Board. It was quite difficult to create all the topics as there was not much guidelines available on at "Alberta Learn" and not even on Smartboard exchange. There was a lot of information to assimilate and gather for this particular lesson and in the beginning it seemed very difficult but with the help of the Lab Professor, it became very enjoyable, easy and a great learning experience.
Possible Uses in Education: The lesson of "Lesson Planning" I learnt will go all the way with me in Canadian Forces. I can use this format in a conventional classroom settings, also in the field area TEWTs (Test exercises without troops) and other outdoor settings while teaching Cadets and troops anywhere. I will also be using it to prepare my lessons for DL (distant learning) set-up and distributed learning, virtual classrooms settings, and many other possible uses where instructions and information is needed to be disseminated.
