Nonfiction

Our class has always tended to lean more towards fiction writing. Getting to express our creativity with no limits always intrigues us. But we soon figured out that you can make a nonfiction piece of writing just as creative. There's always the typical stereotype that non fiction is dull and boring. But in truth, reading an actual event from someone's life can be the exact opposite. We all struggled a bit in seeking which event we wanted to write about, all of us wanting to succeed in finding something that would bring originality to our stories. We have a very independent class; none of us talks very much. But we all made up for it by what we put down on our papers, which eventually contained some great nonfiction pieces.

The writings we chose were some of the class favorites. Our wide variety of stories include: Anxiety attacks, stuffed animal collections, and the power of stories.

We hope you enjoy!
