Sue-meg State Park

Indigenous Culture on the North Coast at Sue-meg Village

Sue-meg Village was built in collaboration between State Parks and the Yurok Tribe as a place for Yurok to revitalize their culture and is used today for education, ceremony, and healing.

Join Interpreter Maiya Rainer, who will share stories, lessons, and lifeways, drawn from her Yurok ancestry in this 45 minute virtual program! Don't miss our digital teacher resources linked underneath the booking on this page.
