Olompali State Historic Park will be closed until further notice due to the lack of access caused by recent road damage.
As a result reservations for new On Demand PORTS Programs have been paused.
We are currently evaluating the situation and will provide updates as they become available.
From marshes, to grassland, Oak groves, and hills, Olompali has an incredibly diverse landscape that supports the life of numerous species of plants and animals and of course humans.
For the last 8000 years people have been making Olompali their home. It has been the site of villages and trade hubs for the Coast Miwok, a Mexican Rancho, and a Victorian estate.
Students will join Interpreter Ryan as they learn about Olompali's unique history, landscape, and how it all relates to the History of California.
