We are immensely proud of our school and everything we have achieved to date but none of it would be possible without the hard work of the pupils, staff, volunteers, parents and everyone in our community that supports us.
Elgol Primary School came 3rd out of thousands of entries in the UK Competition run by the Active Travel Charity - Sustrans. This fantastic achievement was due to the combined efforts of pupils, parents and staff to promote and participate within active travel during the competition.
Well done to our 5 pupils for winning the south Skye schools tournament. Pupils trained so hard at lunchtimes and breaks and showed great pride in being able to play for there own school.

When the pupils were asked if they wanted to take part in sport relief this year they decided that the usual mile walk was not quite challenging enough! They instead chose a local hill to climb and raise funds for the charity. The older pupils mapped out the route and arranged what supplies would be required for the expedition as part of a Navigation Award from Mountaineering Scotland. Many thanks to everyone who donated and took part.
Well done to all of our pupils who cycled to school for bike to school week and an extra well done for cycling home from school up the brae!

We did it! We upgraded our silver sport award to gold and are the smallest school to hold this award. Pupils have taken part in a wide range of sporting activities from kayaking to golf and worked with many people in the community to achieve this recognition!
Well done to the pupils for the national recognition and being in the highly commended category for the what Scotland means to me film competition. Your love of where you live truly comes across in your film entry.
