Make a high quality (300dpi) CMYK PDF from any software.
Crop and Bleed might need to be considerations and can be understood from this video.
From a design file that is set to the size of screen to view on, high resolution is 300ppi but can be scaled down to maybe as low as 150ppi depending on purpose.
The image will need to be RGB and then it is a case of looking at the size of the image and using compression if it is to large.
File types could be JPG/TIFF/PNG if sub-settings are considered.
From a design file set to the size of the intended area the image will occupy.
The resolution for web is generally low at 72dpi. This is to keep loading times down.
If quality is more important, the image could be raised up to 144dpi.
