What our learning looks like this week
Maths
LI: to solve an equation where a number is represented by a letter.
We have been focussing on < > = ≠ and simple 𝑥= equations this week we will be utilising these to solve equations that have numbers represented by symbols on both sides of the = sign
Literacy
This week we are learning about biographies. We will learn about Roald Dahl through a biography for him. Then for Religious Education we will continue this learning
This week we are also learning about the media and how to evaluate it. we will do a focus on information sharing and the difference between misinformation, malinformation and disinformation. This will also be examined and extended upon in Digital Education.

Religious Education
Catherine McAuley is one of the Mercy Sisters who our house group McAuley, is named after. This week we will research her, her faith journey and her life and we will fill out a face file then write a biography for her. We will also be creating fact posters, like we did on Chanel, Aubert and Marcellin days. This will overlap with Reading, Writing and Art.
Te Reo Māori
LI: to recite the Glory Be in Te Reo and other prayers of the Rosary
This week we are practicing saying the Glory Be in Te Reo, we will be recording ourselves saying it and adding it to ClassDojo, by Thursday.
We have Miha Practice on Tuesday morning after Brain food and we will be practicing those waiata in class as well.
Physical Education and Health
This week we will record our Discus and Shot Put results and we will do our final preparations for Athletics on FRIDAY! We have been training hard and this is our chance to showcase what we learned.

We will be creating our posters for Catherine McAuley.

We are learning about the Quality of media and how to evaluate it, and how to understand the reliability of information. We will focus on the difference between misinformation, malinformation and disinformation.
We will also be recording our Te Reo mahi and posting to Dojo
