Session1: Our History!
Get in a group of 4 - 2 from TK and 2 from Kakapo. For the rest of this week you are working on a research project about our school and it's history. You will share this at the end of the week. You might choose to make a documentary, a brochure, a book, a slide show or a animation to share your learning.
Person 1- Our mural, who made it, how was it created, what does each part mean.
Person 2- Bishop Pompallier, who is he, how did he come to New Zealand, what is he known for?
Person 3- St Josephs Parish
When was it built? Who started the church? Important people in the church?
Person 4- Pompallier Catholic School
Who created our school, when was it built? What has changed over the years etc.
