Liar and Spy is about a kid named Georges who moves out of his house and into an apartment building. When Georges's dad sees a flier for a spy club he asks what time and asks Georges to go to a meeting. A while later Georges meets a boy named Safer. Safer tells Georges about a man "Mr. X ''. Safer tells Georges that "Mr. X '' may be a murderer. The two boys try to solve this mystery. What will happen when Safer goes into Mr. X's apartment? How far is too far for Georges?

I would recommend American Royals because it was very interesting, had an amazing plot, and was really well written. This book tells the story of four people Beatrice, Samantha, Nina, and Daphe who live in a world where America and all other countries in the world still have monarchies. Beatrice it the heir and is going to become America’s first queen, Samantha is the spare she will never rule and is tired of always being the forgotten sister, Nina is a commoner but has grown up along the royal family but is tired of only ever being Samantha’s best friend, Daphne dreams of power and will stop at nothing.
