𝗣𝗡𝗨-𝗠𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗙𝗣-𝗔𝗗𝗦 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲

Philippine Normal University-Mindanao took part in the Fire Prevention Month Information Drive and Community Relations Week with the theme "𝘚𝘢 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯, 𝘴𝘶𝘯𝘰𝘨 𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘪𝘺𝘢𝘬 𝘯𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘪𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘯" last March 15, 2023, at CC1 of the said campus. 

Bureau of Fire Protection of Bahbah, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur initiated the event in relation to March and April National Fire Prevention Months. Fire Officers III Rustom B. Bautista and Brylle De Los Reyes together with FO I John Carlo Porras, and other officers conducted lectures regarding fire safety, prevention, and ways to stop fire. In addition, they also provided instructions on how to use fire extinguishers appropriately. In relation to that, students gathered to learn and participate in an actual demonstration of fire prevention and safety skills. Also, they were taught about proper response to fire breakouts. After which, students had the opportunity to ask questions about the said lecture.

 At the latter parts of the program, BEE-II Mayor Mr. Herald De Chavez shared his insights and encouraged proactivity regarding fire safety and crisis. Municipal Fire Marshall, Inspector Bomen Lofranco, summed up the lectures to the students and he was in joy witnessing a great number of participants during the event. 

 Finally, Prof. Arlen G. Martin concluded the event on behalf of the Philippine Normal University-Mindanao.

 Student Interns from SOCOTECH were also present as part of their role in the BFP Unit of Bahbah, Prosperidad.
