PNU Mindano’s Students’ Night was held on the 11th of January 2023 with the theme, “A Night of Elegance”. The program's success was spearheaded by Hon. Ralph B. Original, PNU Mindano’s SG President and Vice Chair of Academics and the different organizations of the student body made the event a night worth remembering.

The night began with a hearty and warm welcome by PNU Mindanao’s Vice President of Internal Affairs Ms. Ulah Grace Pormiento, who welcomed everyone on behalf of the SG President and outlined the schedule for the evening. After that, an Opening Salvo was given by the Kaliyagan and Indak Dance Troupe performed for the students to enjoy and was followed by a speech acknowledging the participants by PNU Mindanao’s very own OSICOM Chair himself, Mr. Noel Politan.

The night was not only filled with elegantly worn fabrics but also with elegantly able-bodied student leaders of the different organizations and commissioners in the student body in an oath-taking ceremony during the same night as they commit themselves in the name of serving the students. 

The night was blessed to have Dr. Concepcion G. Belza, Associate Dean, Faculty of Teacher Development, and Prof. Jeanette T. Gongora, Director, Student Services in commemorating the Outstanding Students in their respective studies from 1st years to the 3rd in displaying their academic prowess during the School Year 2021-2022 third term.

One of the highlights of the night was the different talents from different departments, where a number of students pranced through the night and showcased their talents, some sang, some danced, and others gave a performance of a lifetime. In addition to the performances, an impersonation of social media’s “Madi” aka Telma was performed which made the whole room burst into laughter and awe when he started to sing. 

Before the night concluded Mr. Richann Jay Capunong Speaker of the House of the Legislative Body gave the Closing Remarks to thank the student for their undying support and the people who made the night possible. Overall, the students' night was a great success and everyone had a great time.

The event was well-organized and ran smoothly, with the student leaders working hard to ensure that everything went according to plan. The feedback from the students and parents was overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the variety of activities and performances on offer, as well as the well-coordinated nature of the event.

It was a memorable night for all the students and the school community, and it is an event that everyone is looking forward to next year.
