PMHA - Completing your VSC

Criminal Record Checks and Vulnerable Sector Checks are a REQUIREMENT in order to Coach and Volunteer with children! This needs to be done every 3 years. With currently active VSC, you must still complete an online declaration to the OHF to maintain an active status.

How to get your VSC and upload to the OHF ...

A letter from the OHF is required in order to have a VSC completed. Fill out this form first.

Complete your VSC with the Timmins Police. You will be asked to upload the OHF letter.

After answering some questions. You will be asked the type of check you require. The volunteer Vulnerable sector check will appear near the bottom. It has a cost of $17.95

Continue through the questions and at the end you will be given options for payment. You will receive an email from Triton Canada within a few business days with your completed VSC.

You will need your HCR # (found in your account). If you are uploading a new VSC, you will click YES. If you are doing your yearly declaration, you will click NO.

If you click YES, you will be asked to upload the VSC sent to your email by Triton Canada. Note: A new tab has opened, once uploaded, close this tab and go back to click the bottom option and then select Next.

If your VSC is still valid (check your spordle account under Background Checks), you click NO. You will then be asked a series of questions and click Submit at the end. You will receive an email confirming that you have submitted your declaration.
