With the season rapidly approaching, the NOHA wish to remind all Associations of the urgency to ensure that Team Officials (Coaches, Managers, Trainers) and any Third Party Instructors that the Association may use, are updated with respect to submissions of their Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).
Individuals who are not cleared on the HCR by the OHF CANNOT participate in any activities until they are cleared.
The OHF will be going through submissions of VSC in order of receipt, and therefore it is extremely important that any Team Officials who have already been selected and individuals who may be assisting with upcoming Camps/evaluations/etc. have their VSC completed and uploaded through Spordle ASAP so that they are eligible to participate.
Note that Team Officials will not be able to be added to HCR rosters until this step is completed; the HCR will be the method of determining eligibility of participation.
If an individual requires a letter to provide to their local police service, they can obtain it from here: https://ohf.on.ca/media/ofonwcwe/ohf-letter-requesting-vsc.pdf
For individuals who have submitted a VSC to their Association either last season (23/24) or the previous year (22/23), they may upload a copy of this VSC along with a signed criminal offence declaration form: https://forms.microsoft.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=s88_mthsgUGOi8KxPBphVRNFN0_ZyflGmReI6w2hk6NUOUowVjgyRVI5R0hMUjUzMUVLMU5WTVc2OS4u
