Algebra I



On a daily basis, students in Algebra will use problem-solving strategies, questioning, investigating, analyzing critically, gathering and constructing evidence, and communicating rigorous arguments justifying their thinking. Under teacher guidance, students learn in collaboration with others while sharing information, expertise, and ideas.

Grading Policies

  • 35% Individual and Team Assessments

  • 40 Assignments (in-class and homework)

  • 15% Learning Logs and Math Portfolio

  • 10% Binder Organization

*Must show work to receive credit!! Late work (up to 1 week) will lose 20%. Work turned in after 1 week late, will only receive 50% credit.
