Treble Choir

The Treble Choir is an auditioned ensemble specializing in the performance of advanced treble choir literature.  More advanced singing techniques and tone colorings are stressed, along with the fundamentals of breath support and placement.  Students in this ensemble will broaden their knowledge of music literacy and ensemble singing through a variety of literature from different genres, historical periods, and languages.  The choir performs at all home concerts, Graduation, State Solo and Ensemble Festival, and State Large Group Festival.  Additional performance opportunities include participation in the Jazz Choirs (by audition) and taking a trip every two years.  The group is directed by Catherine Lyon and Bailey Connors.
