Chamber Choir

The Chamber Choir is the premier choral ensemble of students in grades 10-12 at Pleasant Valley High School. A mixed, auditioned choir, the group is under the direction of Meg Byrne. Chamber Choir rehearses daily, striving for a beautiful and flexible tone through their advanced choral literature. They participate in many concerts, festivals, and community performances throughout the year. Chamber Choir has received Division I ratings at IHSMA State Large Group Festival annually since 1999, and has members placed regularly in the All-State Chorus, and the Midwest ACDA and National ACDA Honor Choirs. Recent Honors include:

Featured high school choir at the Wartburg Meistersinger Honor Choir Festival (2025)

Invited to perform with University of Iowa University Choir (2023)

Invited to perform with the Wartburg Choir, Drake Choir, and at the University of Northern Iowa at their spring tour performances and concerts (2022)

Selected to represent 4A High School choirs at the ICDA Iowa Choral Showcase (2018)

Invited to perform with Luther's Collegiate Chorale at spring tour performance (2018)

Invited to perform with Augustana Choral Artists and Augustana Choir at fall concert (2017)

Varsity Men's Choir selected to perform as featured choir at Wartburg's Real Men Sing (2015)

Chamber Choir Women selected to perform with the Quad City Symphony Orchestra (2014)

Selected for Project Sing with the Nova Singers (2003, 2008, 2018)
