Molly Allen 

Hi there! I'm Mrs. Allen, and this is my eighth year as a school counselor at Foothill H.S. I look forward to working with you this year!

A little bit about me: I graduated from University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology. Go BUFFS! After working in real estate for a couple of years in Chicago (which is a fantastic city!), I decided to pursue my passion for helping young people and moved back to my native Bay Area. I attended graduate school at University of San Francisco and received my Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in School Counseling and P.P.S. credential. In my first high school position, I came across a unique opportunity and decided to pursue a teaching credential in special education. While teaching full-time at an alternative high school, I received my Education Specialist credential from San Jose State. After teaching special education for six years, including two years at Foothill, I moved into my current role as school counselor in 2015. 

In my spare time, I love staying active with my husband and three young children. I enjoy playing softball, reading, and taking ski trips to Tahoe.
