• Leadership Team identifies participants of Self-Study Institute, meets with Deans and Department Heads for Steering Committee nominations, recommendations, and approvals

OCTOBER 2023

• 10 Plaza team members attend the Self-Study Institute

• Leadership Team receives approval from President Callahan to add an 8th Working Group to the Self-Study process, focusing on student involvement

• Leadership Team extends invitations to 15 individuals to serve as the Chairs and Deputy Chairs of 8 Working Groups 

• Steering Committee met to kick-off the Self-Study process

NOVEMBER 2023

• Working Group co-chairs review recommendations for Working Group membership, extend invitations to assemble group members

• Working Group meetings begin, to be held at least three times per semester

• Drafting of the Self-Study Design Document begins

DECEMBER 2023

• Working Groups submit first end-of-semester reports to Leadership Team outlining (1) Group Charges and (2) Standards, Priorities, and Lines of Inquiry

• Zoom meeting with MSCHE VP Liaison, Dr. Anne Wahl, to discuss and schedule date for Self-Study Preparation Visit

• Self-Study Website Launched

• Self-Study Design Document Draft disseminated to Steering Committee and Working Groups for review and comment

FEBRUARY 2024

• Working Groups submit report to Leadership Team aligning Institutional Priorities, Lines of Inquiry, and Standard Criteria

• Self-Study Design Document Draft revised based on feedback and sent to Dr. McKitrick

APRIL - JUNE 2024

• Working Groups review criteria, consult necessary departments, and identify existing evidence to support their Standard

• Working Groups submit second end-of semester report to Leadership Team outlining criteria and supporting evidence, identifying strengths and opportunities/needs 

• Self-Study Design Document feedback, revision, acceptance
