Working Group Charges
The working groups are each assigned to one of MSCHE's seven Standards of Accreditation and are charged with:
Developing lines of inquiry that will guide the group in examining the College’s effectiveness in meeting the assigned Standard and gathering evidence to support their conclusions.
Determining the extent to which the institution meets its assigned Standard, associated criteria, and Requirements of Affiliation.
Identifying the College’s strengths, challenges, and opportunities for improvement as they relate to the assigned Standard and recommending strategies for improvement.
Identifying key sources of relevant documentation to be gathered, reviewed, summarized, and used to support conclusions of the Self Study.
Identifying and tabulating policies and procedures to be reviewed and summarized to support conclusions of the Self Study.
Developing draft reports, incorporating feedback, and providing frequent update reports to the Leadership team based on the established timelines.
Producing a final draft report for the assigned Standard.
In addition, Plaza College has developed an eighth working group focused on ensuring student engagement throughout the Self-Study process. This working group includes student representatives from each of the college's five schools of study and is charged with:
Ensuring student understanding of the importance of institutional accreditation and the accreditation review process.
Gaining a deeper insight into how students view where Plaza College is today and where they see Plaza College in the future.
Providing students with the opportunity to participate in and contribute to the development of the college's Self-Study document.
