About
The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Huddle exists to strengthen coherence across the region and COEs by connecting UDL implementation practices, measurement strategies, and capacity-building efforts through reflection, data use, and shared learning. It is open to any COE leaders engaged in UDL implementation and support across the CCFAC region. Participants can expect the huddle to offer a collaborative space involving the following: 

• Reflection and data sharing to ground conversations in authentic practice.

• Regional and county updates highlighting progress and lessons learned in UDL implementation.

• Spotlights on multilingual learners and dually identified students to elevate equity-focused design.

• Resource sharing to spread effective tools, strategies, and supports.

• Collaborative problem-solving to build coherence and strengthen inclusive systems across the network.

Equity Imperative
The UDL Huddle aims to ensure that every learner—especially those historically marginalized or underserved—has access to meaningful, challenging, and affirming learning experiences. They commit to using UDL as a lever for equity by examining data, disrupting barriers, and aligning systems so that inclusion is not dependent on circumstance, but embedded in design.

Meetings
The CIDA Huddle typically meets every other month. 2026–27 meeting schedule/cadence TBD.
