Chris Donaldson, educator and education consultant, thrives on empowering learners of all ages and promoting STEM education. He is driven by the desire for and results of exponential impact. Donaldson has ten years of industry experience in developing training, managing information systems, and facilitating custom solutions. He has been teaching in public schools since 2007 and at Parkway West High since 2017.
Donaldson currently teaches students in Engineering & Technology courses at Parkway West High School and coaches the West High Robotics Team with Alison Dwyer (WHS Physics instructor) and Paul Schwent (Business & Technology instructor). Donaldson enjoys helping students learn life skills. More than anything, he enjoys growing learners’ design and problem-solving skills. He has worked closely with Ranken Technical College and Victory Raceway to advance STEM education in their professional development and youth programs. He has partnered with University of Missouri, MODOT, and LUNDA Construction to develop bridge construction curriculum for grades K-12.
Donaldson holds an M.Ed. in Science Education from Northeastern State University, NASA Endeavor STEM Teaching Certificate, and B.A. in Education from Murray State University.
Donaldson is certified to teach Technology and Engineering (5 - 12), Business Education (5 - 12), Marketing (9 - 12), and German (K - 12).
