Discipline Consequences
Category 1 Offenses
On a student's third trip to CHOICE (for any reason) the student will receive a MINIMUM of Afterschool Detention as a consequence. If an offense warrants a more severe consequence, Administration will assign based on guidelines in PCS Code of Conduct
After the third CHOICE visit, every visit from that point forward will receive a MINIMUM of Afterschool Detention.
Students who do not attend Afterschool Detention will be automatically assigned ISS (As early as the next school day based on availability of space.)
Category 2 or Higher Offenses
Administrators will assign consequences for Category 2 or higher offenses following the guidelines outlined in the Pitt County Schools Code of Conduct including ISS, OSS, and Long Term Suspension.
