7th Grade Update
Our 7th grade students are currently reviewing important skills and concepts as we prepare for our next novel study. This review will help strengthen comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills so students are ready to dive into our upcoming text with confidence. We are excited to begin a new literary journey together soon!
Each day at the end of class, we will spin the wheel and whichever student’s name it lands on will receive a phone call or email home. This is a way for me to keep families informed and connected to what is happening in our classroom. If the student has had a great day, I will send a positive message to share their success. If the student did not have the best day, the message will reflect that and let you know what we can work on improving. My goal is to maintain open communication and celebrate the good while also addressing areas where students can grow.

Reminders
Please help students remember to follow both classroom and PCA expectations each day.
Some students are not completing their reading logs for homework and are receiving 0’s. This is an easy 100—please make sure they are filling these out nightly.
Students should bring their supplies daily to class: headphones, pencils, notebooks/binders, and other needed materials. Being prepared helps them succeed!
Thank you for your continued support at home—it makes all the difference!
