Seventh grade has officially concluded our novel study of The Diary of Anne Frank! Throughout this unit, students explored the powerful firsthand account written by Anne Frank during her time in hiding in the Secret Annex in Amsterdam during World War II.
As we wrap up the novel, students are completing several projects and worksheets designed to reinforce the important themes and lessons from the text. We are focusing on topics such as resilience, hope in difficult circumstances, the impact of prejudice, and the importance of empathy and perspective.
These activities encourage critical thinking, reflection, and meaningful discussion as students connect Anne’s experiences to both historical events and present-day lessons.
Ask your child about the themes that stood out most to them, we’ve had some thoughtful conversations in class!

Reminders
Please help students remember to follow both classroom and PCA expectations each day.
Some students are not completing their reading logs for homework and are receiving 0’s. This is an easy 100—please make sure they are filling these out nightly.
Students should bring their supplies daily to class: headphones, pencils, notebooks/binders, and other needed materials. Being prepared helps them succeed!
Thank you for your continued support at home—it makes all the difference!
