Eligibility is determined by a student's unweighted GPA. Unweighted GPA must be 2.8 or higher to qualify.
The GPA that shows in Infinite Campus is weighted, meaning extra points are added in for honors and/or AP courses. So, weighted GPA is higher than unweighted.
You can see your unweighted GPA on your transcript (In Infinite Campus under Grades>Student Documents) or you can email Dr. Martin cmartin@pinnacleclassicalacademy.com or Mrs. Deaton adeaton@pinnacleclassicalacademy.com and ask for your unweighted GPA.
See GPA & Grade Resources for strategies to improve your GPA.
To begin the Associate in Arts degree, juniors take specific college courses.
The document to the right shows how junior year courses meet the CCC requirements for the first half (First 30 Credits) of an associate degree.
Students at PCA take college courses for transfer to 4-year schools through the College Transfer Pathway (CTP), and/or courses for career preparation through Career and Technical Education Pathways (CTE).
