Project Description: In this project we had to create an interactive Scratch project that shares cool facts about us with the user. We incorporated a diverse array of elements and interactive features in order to make the project more interesting.

SOUL Reflection:
S (Strengths): I experimented with using the random number generator block (which I had never used before), and feel like I did well incorporating it into my project. I also used a variety of sources for media. I created some (drawing/recording), found some on the internet, and found some in Scratch's library. I think doing this allowed me to have a lot of freedom and added a characteristic of uniqueness to my project.
O (Opportunities): I think there was a lot of room for improvement in my project, mainly in terms of management and efficiency. I think I over-planned my project and it ended up taking a long time. There were also some places where the amount of sprites and code could have been reduced using lateral thinking and functions ("create a block"). For example, I think I could've created a function to define each "hand" for the Balatro animations. Additionally, I think it would've been great to have a back button in my project.
U (Understanding): In this project, my understanding of broadcasting improved. I learnt how to put blocks around broadcasts in order so that everything goes how I want it to, and I learnt the importance of naming every broadcast very specifically (as this project ended up having 29 broadcasts total).
L (Limitations): I don't think there's any bugs in my project, only my Balatro animations were quite unclean (sizing & exact location could be better, didn't immediately disappear), which was quite unpleasant to the eye.
Peer Soul Reflection - Rebecca:
S (Strengths): I really liked your card (Balatro) animations! I like how you explained the examples of the cards that you showed. All of your scenes are really unique and all the backgrounds + animations are all different, so there are no boring scenes!
O (Opportunities): The only thing I would have to say for room for improvement is giving more time to read the text.
U (Understanding): I didn't know that you made dinner for your family some nights! Thats so cool!
L (Limitations): I actually didn't see any bugs in your project. I would just say some stick figures's body weren't that straight when lifting weights so it looked a little funky!
SOUL Reflection - Sophia:
S - (Strengths): There is a lot of good and creative actions/movements between the sprites. There is also a good amount of communication between the sprites and user, as well as audio and interactive sounds. The project is very interactive, informative, and entertaining.
O (Opportunities): You could have given the user options to do thing such as asking the user a question or giving them a choice. Everything else is solid.
U (Understanding): I didn't know you could add that much movement in the scenes, especially the card scene with the cards moving everywhere. I also didn't know you could add the speaking which was very cool.
L (Limitations): There were no bugs in your project and it was a very well made one.
