Tallest Structure

Description: In a group of 4 or 5, build the tallest structure that is sturdy and stays up for at least 1 minute. The structure is built solely on straws and 2 ft of masking tape. It must stand alone, and the only thing that it touches is the floor.

Brainstorm: 

We focused mainly on the height factor because our group was competitive and wanted to have the tallest tower.

Procedure:

We ended up connecting the straws ends and making a triangle base. We taped the triangle base to the floor.

SOUL Reflections:

S- The strength of our work was working fast, we had only 25 minutes and achieved considerable height

O- Our tower could've been way sturdier, it was leaning the whole time

U- In this project, I learnt that teamwork is important

L- Our main limitation was having only 2 ft of tape

WISCR:

In this project, I learnt teamwork. I learnt it is important to include everybody; having everybody do something makes the project's progress faster and better.
