Our library remains a vibrant hub for sparking curiosity, building connections, and empowering every learner who walks through our doors.
Each morning begins with a energetic wave of students dropping in to print assignments, gather with friends, or pick out their next great read. Over the course of the quarter, we welcomed 4,821 total student walk-ins during morning check-ins and study hall sessions, offering space to collaborate, research, or recharge.
Collaboration with our teaching staff continued as we hosted 273 class visits in the library. We supported student learning across diverse topics, including English library orientations, independent reading, digital citizenship, informative speech research, Fedearlism vs. Antifederalist viewpoints on current events, American Colonial Convention, themes in the history and cultures of East Asia, the Spanish-American War and Imperialism, and the philosphical foundations of American Government.s
Reading is thriving! Our patrons checked out 2,441 materials since the start of the year.
Students examined primary sources to analyze the economic, religious, and social factors that drove European migration to the American colonies. Using their research, they constructed evidence-based arguments evaluating the strategic and historical impact of specific colonies.
World History students explored major themes in Asian history by conducting regional research and sharing their findings through an interactive gallery walk, presenting key cultural, economic, and political developments to their peers.
