Anthology of Poetry Competition - Submit your original poem to ckelly@pinerichland.org by Monday, November 3, 2025. All poems will be sent to be critiqued and possibly published in the Anthology of Poetry along with other works from talented poets. Scholastic Art and Writing Awards - The Alliance for Young Arts and Writers offers various art and writing contests. See the website for different contests you can enter. National Civics Bee - Submit a 4-paragraph essay to be chosen to participate in the National Civics Bee. Essay details are on Google Classroom. Submit your essay to Mrs. Kravitz via email by Friday, January 30.
53-Word Story Contest - The 53-Word Story Contest has a different theme/topic each month. Check the website each month for the prompt. Submit your 53-word story to Mrs. Kravitz by the 14th of each month.
GBU Life Sing-Off Competition - The GBU Life Sing-Off Competition awards the local student (grades: 6-12) singer with the voice of the year, with an opportunity to perform live in the Cultural District at Highmark First Night Pittsburgh on New Year's Eve, a $500 cash prize, and $1,000 donation to the student's school music department. The video submission is due by December 1, 2025.
