Bebras Computing Challenge - The Bebras Challenge is designed to help students explore their talents and passion for informatics and computational thinking with engaging challenges. Students work through a set of tasks that focus on different topics and skills within informatics and computational thinking. They will have 45 minutes to complete as many tasks as they can. Students will get 3 sets of 5 tasks. The 3 sets each have a level of difficulty: easy, medium or hard. The Bebras Challenge will take place in GATE class the week of November 10.
History Bowl - Students participate in a history competition held at the Heinz History Center. A team of students collaborates to complete challenges on each floor. Competition will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025.
Wordsmith Vocabulary Competition - Students test their vocabulary and verbal skills in this competition. They compete in a variety of word-based challenges. The Wordsmith Competition will take place at NA on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
SciYinz Squad Competition - Students will work in groups of 5 at the Kamin Science Center on Friday, November 21, 2025 to complete various science-related problems. They will work collaboratively in their groups and be judged based on their problem solving skills.
