AI for Impact Hackathon: Harness AI to tackle a real-world issue, announced at the competition, to develop an innovative AI-driven solution: A working prototype of an interactive tool with the potential to make long lasting, global change. The hackathon will take place on Wednesday, May 13 at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit. 

Future in Focus: Career Ready PA Discovery Day - This hands-on experience gives middle school students the chance to connect with professionals from cutting-edge fields to:

• Engage in interactive workshops

• Ask questions and learn what it’s like to work in a variety of careers

• Discover pathways to future studies and opportunities

The event will take place at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit on Tuesday, May 19.

WPCTE English Festival - Students read 6 pre-selected books throughout the year. On Thursday, May 21, 2026, students compete against other local schools in reading and writing competitions related to the books at La Roche University. See Google Classroom for more details on the pre-selected books.
