Kevin Caron
Biography
After an early six-year training in machine shops and aircraft maintenance yards in the U.S. Navy, sculptor Kevin Caron became known for his towering metal creations on view in public and private places in the United States, abroad, and online at his website and popular YouTube channel. The 2018 Phoenix Mayor's Visual Artist of the Year, Caron was featured in a national ABC-TV 20/20 special. His more than 50 commissions include the monumental sculpture Top Knot, commissioned for the Civic Center Plaza in Surprise, Arizona. Another large-scale work, Wherever You Go, There You Are, was purchased and now stands in front of Whitaker Museum for Science and the Arts in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. More recently, Caron is creating 3D-printed sculptures over five feet high.
