In the last couple of months, GradeCam now does a few new things! It is no longer limited to Multiple Choice Questions but can now grade Open Responses, Rubrics, and more! Simply chance the response type in your key before printing your sheet. Oh, and now you no longer even have to print sheets. GradeCam now allows a split screen option displaying the assessment in one window and the answer key in the other.

I shared this from IFL as well but this tool is just so, so very, very awesome! BoostEDU is a program that supports teachers in transforming their traditional lessons into 21st-century lessons through an inquiry-based self-assessment and guided lesson design process.
Complete a self-assessement to determine the current level of SAMR, ISTE, and/or 4 C’s in your lesson.
After the self-assessment, you can begin redesigning your lesson through a guided, inquiry-based process. Once you complete the process, you will receive a copy of the lesson via a Google Doc.
There is just no way I can even begin to explain all of these apps, extensions, or add-ons but I'll do my best. I fully anticipate to host a FlexPD session just to touch on each of these because they are awesome!! I may even send out emails specifically to some of you as I know you may benefit from some of these immediately!
An incredible presentation of the 10 Truths describing students today, the expectation through standards, and suggested new methods to help reach the expectations. Examples are given from an English Teacher's (and ELA Teacher's) perspective but can be easily modified and applied to any content area. The extremely insightful presentation can be found here!
This session offered over 80 extensions that can be added to your Google Toolbox to enhance learning and increase classroom efficiency. Each block in the periodic table is clickable and linked to a document with a description of the extension and link to download. Links to various versions of the periodic table can be found here!
While this session does not directly impact the classroom with apps or devices, it did remind me the importance of continuing to push each other to be effective technology integrators. Please take the time to scroll through the first section of this presentation for some vital insight and statistical information.
This was seriously a lot of fun! The possibilities are endless! Storytelling, mathematics, science, coding... I could go on and on. What's even cooler, they can easily make a game, all while learning logic, expressing their creativity, and storytelling but they can share it AND export it to playable devices. You HAVE to check this out!
