Congratulations to our A Honor Roll Students!

On Friday, March 20, Healy brought back the Honors Breakfast. 193 Healy students, grades 7-12 were invited, along with their parents / guardians to enjoy donuts, muffins, and coffee.

Mr. Egan spoke directly to students about how they should be proud of the work and effort they have put in and to be leaders in making it ok to try and to be great. He also acknowledged the work parents are putting into their children - the hard conversations, the structure and boundaries held, and the support through challenges that leads to student success at school.

We would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who helped to make this event a huge success: our custodial staff and helpful students for setting up and tearing down, the kitchen staff for the treats and beverages, Sarah Funk, Dave Rocheleau, Nancy Monson (postes and slide show), Brenda Gotvald and her Ag students (flowers), Joan Sanoski (slide show and student attendance), our paras who mailed inviations, and to our school counseling and social work staff who were available to help with serving food and greeting families.

Congratulations to all of these students for their extraordinary work and to their families for supporting their students. Thank you to everyone who took the time out of their days to be with us.

Career Expo

Pierz-Healy High School hosted a Career Expo on March 11, 2026, providing students with a valuable opportunity to explore potential career paths. Across two class periods, more than 80 students engaged with five industry partners of their choice for 10-minute presentations followed by Q&A sessions. This event allowed students and industry representatives to connect, learn about various careers, and plan for the future—creating a meaningful experience for all participants.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the 11 industry partners who made this event possible: AirBorn, Central MN Truck Academy, Knife River, Premium Concrete, Barrett Foods, Complete Grain Systems, Bob's Lumber, RD Floors, Farmers and Merchants State Bank, Pierz Villa, and Unity Bank.

Pioneer Pathways - March 18

All students participating in Career and College Readiness Activities on March 18

7th grade - Students explored a variety of workplaces virtually.

8th grade - Students learned about 4 of 16 Career Clusters; including Manufacturing; Marketing, Sales, and Service; STEM; and Transportation, Distribution and Logistics. Talk with your student about what they learned about these Clusters. What did they like (or not) about each of these areas?

9th grade - Students spent time exploring and favoriting 2- and 4-year colleges. Find out from them what schools they looked at, what qualities they are looking for in a school, and which ones were their favorites.

10th grade - Students updated their profiles and resumes. Talk to your student about what they added to their resume and why. Talk to them about the importance of tracking experiences to provide evidence of their skills and achievements when headed into a job.

11th grade - Students updated their profile and resume. They then spent more time exploring career opportunities.

12th grade - Students updated their profile and resume. They then spent more time exploring career opportunities.

📆The following dates will run a Pioneer Time Schedule this year for Pioneer Pathways: May 20.

Junior High Activity Day

Information was shared with 7th and 8th grade students regarding Junior High Activity Day, which is to be held on Wednesday, May 20th. The sign up sheet with details for parents will be handed out to students this week. Please look for this at home and have your student return it to school prompty so we can get kids signed up for the activty of their choosing. We are looking forward to a fun day with our Junior High students!
