The Central New York region has conducted the annual Scholastic Art Awards program for more than 70 years to recognize the artistic accomplishments of students within a wide region of local districts.  The Scholastic Art Awards program is a very competitive show representing artwork from grades 7-12.  This year the show brought in over 4,600 pieces of art from a variety of districts in the surrounding Syracuse areas.  More than 70 professional artists, educators and photographers recently selected award winners during the judging process to create an exhibit of over 1,300 pieces.
