Penn Choir Boosters
There will be a monthly meeting of the Penn Choir Boosters on Monday, November 24 at 7:00pm in the Choir Room. Please note - this meeting will be in-person only (no online link). We will also start decorating for Sounds of the Season after school this day. Please consider helping us with volunteering your time and/or attending the meeting. More details to come soon.
Saint Mary's Treble Choir Festival
Each year we take at least one of our choirs to Saint Mary's College in November to participate in the annual Treble Choir Festival. This year, we are taking BEL CANTO and BELLA VOCE to this festival on Thursday, November 20. This is a free event for parents to attend. Bella Voce will perform at 10:10, and then it will be followed up by working with a clinician on stage. Bel Canto will perform at 2:00 and they also will work with a clinician after. The festival takes place at O'Laughlin Auditorium
Sounds of the Season
It's hard to believe, but we are only a month away from the largest concert year of the year - SOUNDS OF THE SEASON. Here is the schedule for concert week:
Monday, December 1 - Combined Rehearsal from 3:30-5:30 (regular school clothes)
Tuesday, December 2 - NOTHING
Wednesday, December 3 - Dress Rehearsal from 5:00-9:00
Pictures from 5:00-6:00 (tuxes and dresses), Rehearsal from 6:00-9:00
Thursday, December 4 - Concert #1 at 7:00. Arrive at 6:00. The concert is expected to last two hours.
Friday, December 5 - Concert #2 at 7:00. Arrive at 6:00. The concert is expected to last two hours.
Saturday, December 6 - Concert #3 at 1:00. Arrive at 12:00. The concert is expected to last two hours.
TICKETS for the concert will go on sale on Monday, November 17 at 8:00am.
ISSMA Solo & Ensemble
Penn High School hosts ISSMA Solo & Ensemble contest for vocal/piano events on Saturday, February 7 at Penn High School. This is a large event, and we will need quite a few volunteers this day, both students and parents. In the next couple weeks I expect to send out a link where people can sign up to help with the various roles that day, so please considering helping us out.
Students - just a reminder that THIS WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 12 is the last day to fill out the Google Form for Vocal Solos, Piano Solos, or Vocal Ensembles AND pay the bookstore. You can sign up here (you must be logged in to PHM email).

Business/Parent Ads
We are looking for businesses that would like to place ads in our Sounds of the Season and Spring Concert programs. Students earn 75% of the cost into their student's accounts. 75%. Yes. That is correct! CLICK HERE for more information, or contact Adam Rebolloso (contact info below). Parents wishing to place in our programs have the options to do so by filling out THIS FORM.
Choir Fees
All participation fees can be paid HERE. We really appreciate your support and timeliness. You can check if you have paid the fee(s) HERE. As a reminder, here are the fees:
ALL CHOIRS: $50 (Bel Canto, Bella Voce, Singing Kingsmen, Gold Standard)
VIVA VOCE: $200
RHAPSODY: $350
