Bel Canto / Beginning Level-Course #803 / Soprano-Alto Choir / Black 1

• This course is a great way to develop a solid foundation of singing and performing.

• Any soprano/alto in grades 9-12 may take this course. No audition necessary.

• All 9th grade sopranos/altos  will take this course before going on to one of the next level courses.

• Students will learn:

  • basic music literacy skills

  • sight-reading

  • how to sing in the "bel canto" style, an Italian term which translates to "beautiful singing." 

• Class meets during Black 1 from 8:25-9:51.

• Mrs. Secaur and Mr. Nemeth direct and accompany this choir.
