Update 9/5/25: Registration for fall privates is closed!
Please fill out the form below (it's fillable!) to request private lessons once registration opens and bring it to the front desk for processing. (This form is not currently available, but will be posted when registration is open for the next round of private lessons!) We also have printed copies at the front desk waiting for you. We will not be taking any lesson requests over email, Facebook, or phone. Please make sure the form is legible to ensure we can reach you via email and phone.
A request form does not guarantee your swimmer(s) will be scheduled for private lessons. We will accommodate as many swimmers as we can, but we cannot guarantee that we will have an instructor or time available to fit your needs. As we start processing request forms, we will email with your swimmer(s) scheduled time(s) and if you are not accepted for the current season, we encourage you to apply for the next season.
Once we have an instructor and time available for your swimmer(s), you will receive an email with the private lesson schedule. If we reach out and do not hear back from you within 3-4 days, we will reach out to the next swimmer in line. Emails are normally sent in batches. We will not be scheduling lessons part way through the season, as this adds added work and stress on our staff and schedule.
Private lessons are $150 per swimmer for ten 30 minute lessons. Swimmers will be scheduled in batches of 10 lessons whenever possible. After these 10 lessons, we ask swimmers to wait a season in order to give others an opportunity for private lessons. (Example: If you had spring privates, please wait until the fall.)
If 2 swimmers from the same household are of the same or similar ability level, we can schedule them together in a semi-private lesson. Semi-private lessons are $130 per swimmer for ten 30 minute classes. We will not be scheduling any semi-private lessons with more than two students.
Lessons are scheduled for 10 lessons per season. We can offer up to 2 make-up lessons for family emergencies or illness that cause last minute cancellations, or if an instructor is sick and we are unable to provide a substitute. If you miss a lesson due to a family emergency, please let us know within 24 hours in order to reschedule the missed lesson. If we do not hear from you within 24 hours for any missed lesson, the lesson will be forfeited. We are unable to reschedule lessons if you call out with less than 24 hours notice.
We understand that sometimes schedule conflicts and emergencies happen to both our swimmers and instructors. Whenever possible, we will find a substitute instructor, or we will reschedule your lesson(s) to another day or time. If you cancel or no call/no show three consecutive lessons, your lessons will be canceled for the remainder of the season.
Any refunds will be processed in accordance to our refund policy, which is available for viewing at the front desk.
Parents must sit on the bleachers during their swimmer(s) private lessons. We cannot accommodate parents at the pool edge during lesson programming. If you would like to swim laps during private lessons, we can accommodate lap swimmers during lap swim only. Some privates are scheduled during lap swim times and some are not. Please check the front desk or the Schedule page to see if there is lap swim available during your swimmer(s) lessons.
Congrats! You've made it to the end of the page and are ready to reach out about private lessons. Please return the completed form to the front desk when registration is open (see above for season status) and we hope to have your swimmer(s) for the next session of private lessons. This form will be removed from the website once the registration period has ended. We have a limited number of instructors this summer so please be patient as we try to accommodate as many requests as possible.
Any emails asking about private lessons will be directed to this page.
