Pre-Application

• Research and compile a final list of 4 to 8 schools. Resources for this search are available on your Naviance account in the Colleges section. Research your chances of acceptance based on acceptance of past NEHS students, SAT scores/GPA on scattergrams, your overall resume and the school’s cost of attendance. Save your searches and indicate your desire to apply by adding them to your “Colleges I’m applying to” list.

• Naviance must be used in order to facilitate planning and cooperation between student and counselor.

• Read and understand all parts of the application process before you start.

• Complete and submit the Northeast High School Fee Waiver Application.

• Study for and take the SATs at least twice before you apply (if required by the schools).
