All students should register at their neighborhood school based on their home address. If your child receives early intervention services, special education, or additional support including speech and language the school team will schedule a meeting with the IEP team including the parent to review the child's services and supports.
If a more specialized program is needed and if it is not available within the local neighborhood school, the lead special education teacher at the school (SPECM/Special Education Compliance Manager) will reach out to their network special education teams to request a placement/identify an appropriate program that can meet the child's needs that is close to the child's home.
If you scroll halfway down the SDP's Office of Student Placement and Enrollment Page, you'll find a section in green with links to + Find your neighborhood school and + Register your child.
