The Fast Track to Service & Repair course is offered to both member and nonmember companies as a comprehensive entry-level training for employees who are a part of the residential or commercial service and repair industry. Courses are designed to engage the supervisor with hands-on practical skills training and align learning activities with the modules.

Why should employers enroll employees?

This course is a tool for employers to provide customers with confidence that participants are well-trained and professional, improving the company’s productivity and positively impacting the bottom line.

Who should take this course?

The course is designed for individuals who do not require training beyond service and repair. The education is designed to train technicians to be job-ready and well-rounded with a good understanding of plumbing and HVACR systems. This may be used for an opportunity to upskill employees or assist in switching careers between plumbing and HVACR.

How are the courses offered?

The full course is offered through the PHCC Academy, a web-based learning management system which is easy to access and use.

How long does the course take to complete?

The course is a self-paced course. Course access is available for 18 months, but may be completed within 12 months. Upon completion, participants will be able to download their transcript and certificate.

How does this relate to laws and regulations in Louisiana for plumbing?

This course is not part of the full indentured plumbing apprenticeship. It is a tool to help a participant in the service and repair industry, as well as provide an education for those registering with the SPBLA as unindentured apprenticeship.

How do participants enroll?

Complete the sign up form linked below. Upon verifying the participant's employment with a member in good standing, our PHCCLA team will process the enrollment and the participant will receive an email from PHCC Academy allowing them access to start the course.
