Certification Exam with Proctor

PHCCLA is an ESCO approved exam proctor and will work with you on your proctor date and may be proctored virtually.

Members Cost: $75 or $50 if bundled with prep course
Non-Members Cost: $150 or $100 if bundled with prep course

Section 608 of the Federal Clean Air Act requires that all persons who maintain, service, repair or dispose of appliances that contain ozone depleting refrigerants be certified in proper handling techniques.

This course is a tool for employers to ensure technicians are compliant with EPA regulations.

Who should take this course?

This course will prepare students, apprentices and technicians at all levels of their career for all four sections of the EPA Section 608 examination. Core, Type I, Type II, Type III.

How are the courses offered?

The full course is offered through the PHCC Academy, a web-based learning management system which is easy to access and use.

How long does the course take to complete?

The course is a self-paced course and takes approximately 6 hours to complete.

How do participants enroll?

Complete the sign up form linked below. Upon verifying the participant's employment with a member in good standing, our PHCCLA team will process the enrollment and the participant will receive an email from PHCC Academy allowing them access to start the course.
