By-Stander Intervention

Bystander Intervention is recognizing a potentially harmful situation or interaction and choosing to respond in a way that could positively influence the outcome.

                  Everyone can Help - Don't be a Bystander.

   

          Bystander intervention is the act of feeling empowered and equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively assist in the prevention of inappropriate behavior or assault. Bystander intervention and education programs teach potential witnesses safe and positive ways to prevent or intervene when there is a risk for violence. Methods that cadets can use to help in preventing potentially harmful situations include:

     Don't stand by and do nothing. Be the somebody that says something.
