E1- Cadet

E2- Private

E3- PFC

E4- Corporal

E5- Sergeant

E6- Staff Sergeant

E7- Sergeant 1st Class

E8- Master Sergeant, 1st Sergeant

E9- Sergeant Major, Command Sergeant Major                    


Officer Ranks

O1- Second Lieutenant

O2- First Lieutenant

O3- Captain

O4- Major

O5- Lieutenant Colonel

O6- Colonel


JROTC Motivates Young People To Become Better Citizens and with that being said it takes a lot of discipline, responsibility, and INTEGRITY. In JROTC each cadet  starts off as rank of Cadet. As this cadet progresses in JROTC he/she will advance in Rank. Rank are not given to cadets over time, they are earned. Cadets are given opportunities in JROTC to enhance their individual rank stance. Examples include:(Colorguard, Drill,Raider,Rifle Meets, Service Learning Projects, Parades, Flag Details, Participant on Staff, Class Projects, Community Service, Academic & Leadership Bowls, etc) JROTC requires Dedication, Commitment, and Loyalty. Those are just 3 of like 100 different skills you need in JROTC. If you do whats right by JROTC and yourself, you will be successful in JROTC. JROTC can be fun and exciting if you only follow the rules and regulations!!
